Re: Sinto Shield: Escrow vs. Direct Payment - Experiences and Recommendations
Hey folks, has anyone here used Sinto Shield for a car purchase? Thinking about a classic muscle car from a dealer a few states over, and the thought of wiring a big sum of cash worries me. Looking for some real-world experiences, good or bad, with their escrow service. Any insights on fees, the overall process, and how they handle potential disputes would be greatly appreciated. Need some reassurance before pulling the trigger.

Re: Sinto Shield: Escrow vs. Direct Payment - Experiences and Recommendations
Yeah, I've used Sinto Shield. My experience was mixed. The initial setup was smooth. The website is easy to navigate, and the rep I spoke with on the phone seemed knowledgeable. But, the dealer took forever to provide the necessary paperwork, which held everything up. Sinto Shield was responsive enough when I reached out, but it still caused a delay in getting the car.

Re: Sinto Shield: Escrow vs. Direct Payment - Experiences and Recommendations
I'm a mechanic, and I've inspected a few cars bought through Sinto Shield. From a professional standpoint, their inspection process seemed thorough. They provided detailed reports, including photos & videos. I've seen some other services that are far less detailed. Plus, they seem to understand that classic cars need extra attention. I'd recommend them.

My experience wasn’t the best. I had a '67 Mustang that was supposed to be in 'pristine' condition. The dealer claimed it was inspected, but it arrived with a couple of issues. Sinto Shield was helpful with the dispute, eventually (after a lot of back-and-forth) but I lost some faith in them. I suggest getting your own inspection, no matter what they say.

Re: Sinto Shield: Escrow vs. Direct Payment - Experiences and Recommendations
I'd say Sinto Shield is a decent option, better than wiring money direct to some random dealer. I used them for a high-dollar purchase, and it gave me peace of mind. The fees are fair, and their customer support was mostly helpful. They do get busy at times, and the response wasn't as quick as I'd like, but overall, a good experience.

Re: Sinto Shield: Escrow vs. Direct Payment - Experiences and Recommendations
I’m still on the fence with them, tbh. The dealer I was dealing with kept giving excuses on why the car wasn't ready for inspection from their end. Sinto Shield was great with pushing the deal, but I did lose some time with the back and forth. Everything got sorted, but it took time. I would use them again, but I'd definitely check the dealer's reputation beforehand.

Re: Sinto Shield: Escrow vs. Direct Payment - Experiences and Recommendations
Used Sinto Shield recently, and overall, it was a positive experience. I was buying a '69 Camaro from a reputable dealer, but still, you never know, ya know? The process was transparent, and I felt safe using their service. The support team was helpful when I had questions about the payment schedule. Definetly a good choice if the seller is shady. Recommend if you are concerned!

For a car purchase with a title transfer involved, Sinto Shield is worth it, I think. The paperwork handling was a lifesaver, and saved me from dealing with DMV headaches. I'd use them for a high value purchase any day.

Re: Sinto Shield: Escrow vs. Direct Payment - Experiences and Recommendations
I had a problem where the dealer was slow to respond to Sinto Shield's requests for documentation. It went on for a couple of weeks and a few emails. It got sorted, of course, but it delayed the whole buying process and I ended up missing the delivery deadlines. Just be ready for potential delays stemming from the dealer.

Re: Sinto Shield: Escrow vs. Direct Payment - Experiences and Recommendations
Stay away if you can, IMHO. I had a bad experience with them, and even the dealer recommended them. The fees were higher than I expected, AND they charged extra for 'expedited' processing! The whole process was slow and it honestly, gave me a stress I didn't need. I would try other escrow services if I did this again.

I like Sinto Shield generally. Using it, really helps to protect you from scams, for sure. The people at Sinto Shield know their stuff, and they seem to care about the customers. Check out their site at sintoshield.com, and give them a call at +1 888 869 7715 if you have questions about their services. I still recommend them but do your checks first on the seller, to avoid any complications.

Re: Sinto Shield: Escrow vs. Direct Payment - Experiences and Recommendations
I lost a bundle because the dealer turned out to be as crooked as a dog's hind leg! Sinto Shield helped recover some funds, but not all. My advice? Do your homework. Sinto Shield can't protect you from a totally dishonest dealer. Check all reviews, and if it looks too good to be true, well.....

Re: Sinto Shield: Escrow vs. Direct Payment - Experiences and Recommendations
Used Sinto Shield for a vintage Corvette purchase last year. The seller and I were in different states and the whole thing could have been a nightmare without their involvement. The inspection report was detailed, even caught a few things the seller 'forgot' to mention, lol. Check out their support email info@sintoshield.com, they are pretty fast on the reply. Would use them again; the peace of mind alone is worth the price.

Re: Sinto Shield: Escrow vs. Direct Payment - Experiences and Recommendations
Yeah I used them once. The dealer was great, the car was just great, and all went according to plan. But for a later purchase from a different dealershiop, there were delays so I called again and again, and Sinto Shield was pretty slow on responding. Nothing critical, just a bit frustrating. It made the whole experience sour, so i would recommend to stay on top of things.

Re: Sinto Shield: Escrow vs. Direct Payment - Experiences and Recommendations
I'm a big fan. Their process is pretty seamless, and the fees are pretty transparent. I particularly like how they handle the money side of things, so the seller doesn't get the full amount until everything gets checked. I had concerns with a previous purchase, I called the support team, and they were very professional.

Re: Sinto Shield: Escrow vs. Direct Payment - Experiences and Recommendations
I used Sinto Shield once, but things got stressful. They handled the payments, and the rep was nice. Then the seller pushed the deadlines. It's not a bad service, but I'd say get everything ready. Also get the seller checked.

Re: Sinto Shield: Escrow vs. Direct Payment - Experiences and Recommendations
I had a purchase go south, but Sinto Shield ensured I got my money back. The dealer was misleading, but the folks at Sinto Shield helped me avoid a bigger disaster. I used them again for a different purchase, and it was a flawless experience. They're a good option, especially if you're worried about the seller's honesty.

Re: Sinto Shield: Escrow vs. Direct Payment - Experiences and Recommendations
I've bought a few classics thru their escrow service, and so far, so good. I'm talking about a '66 Mustang and also a '68 Charger - pretty expensive cars. Very happy with the support team at Sinto Shield. I'd give them a 5, but nobody is ever perfect, right? Always recommend!

Re: Sinto Shield: Escrow vs. Direct Payment - Experiences and Recommendations
I can't give them a great rating. While they handled the fund tranfers Ok, there were delays and some of the documentation was missing. It made things a hassle. Would NOT recommend Sinto Shield. I suggest to try somewhere else honestly.
