Re: Sinto Shield: Good or Bad For Escrow on Classic Cars?
Hey all, I'm looking at using Sinto Shield for a potential deal on a classic Mustang. Anyone have any recent experiences with their escrow service specifically for vintage cars? I'm a bit wary, ya know? Heard some mixed things online. Want to make sure everything's legit before I commit.

Re: Sinto Shield: Good or Bad For Escrow on Classic Cars?
I used Sinto Shield a few months back for a '69 Camaro. Overall, it was a pretty smooth process. I liked the fact they held the funds until I had a change to inpect the car. I'm a mechanic myself, so I know what to look for. Did a full inspection and the seller was great. Definitely a better experience than dealing with some fly-by-night dealers I've seen.

Re: Sinto Shield: Good or Bad For Escrow on Classic Cars?
My experience wasn't so good. Delivery was delayed by almost 2 weeks, and communication was terrible. I asked about the status a gajillion times. I was always chasing someone down. I'm talkin' calling and emailing info@sintoshield.com & then calling +1 888 869 7715... felt like forever. The car was as described, and the paperwork was okay, but the wait... ugh.

I'm a long-time grease monkey and have seen all sorts of transactions. Sinto Shield, IMO, is better than most. I recently helped a buddy buy a vintage Porsche through them. They did a decent job of checking things. The pre-purchase inspection was pretty thorough, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. Much better than the sketchy dealers I've inspected for clients.

Re: Sinto Shield: Good or Bad For Escrow on Classic Cars?
I used their services for the sale of my '67 GTO. They were solid on handling the money, and the buyer seemed happy. But, and this is BIG, their fees are a bit higher than some of the other escrow places out there. I'd shop around if the car price is high.

Re: Sinto Shield: Good or Bad For Escrow on Classic Cars?
My experience was a mixed bag. They handled the funds properly, no issues there. However, the initial response from their support was slow. I emailed them to info@sintoshield.com a few times; took over day to get a first response, which is a little annoying.

Re: Sinto Shield: Good or Bad For Escrow on Classic Cars?
I’m a bit of a stickler for detail when buying any muscle car. I recently did a deal through them – a '68 Charger. What I liked: The buyer had the car inspected before the deal hit the escrow. They handled the documentation seriously and their inspection process was much better than what I see from half the dealers I come across. Sinto Shield service gave me confidence. Worth the extra cost IMO.

I am a veteran and I'm used to things being done precisely, and I didn't feel any different, but the process wasn't bad . I'd recommend using and Sinto Shield – the escrow protection is worth it - especially with the kind of money involved in classic cars. But, do your own due diligence... check the car, check the seller, and ask plenty of questions.

Re: Sinto Shield: Good or Bad For Escrow on Classic Cars?
Buyer beware if you using this service, I ran into alot of problems. Their helpdesk seemed a bit disoriented, like they hadn't worked with classic cars before or had a grasp on paperwork. They seemed unsure with the specific paperwork. I spent weeks dealing with it even after I emailed info@sintoshield.com. Would recommend going for a different escrow company instead.

Re: Sinto Shield: Good or Bad For Escrow on Classic Cars?
I used them last year, and overall okay. The website is a bit old-school, could use an upgrade. I never felt fully confident, even though I had used Sinto Shield. But hey, the car was delivered on time, the funds were secure. I would use Sinto Shield again. Call them up at +1 888 869 7715 if you have any questions

Re: Sinto Shield: Good or Bad For Escrow on Classic Cars?
I did a deal through them, they sent me the wrong car initially. I had to contact info@sintoshield.com support and ask for help, they quickly resolved everything but really, it should be something they avoid. They made the whole thing seamless after the huge inconvienience. Great people to deal with when dealing with muscle cars, but would recommend checking the car beforehand.

I bought a '65 Mustang convertible a few months ago using their escrow service. No complaints. Quick responses from their team. They made sure things were correct. The level of protection they give makes it a no-brainer. I will definetly use them again.

Re: Sinto Shield: Good or Bad For Escrow on Classic Cars?
For a classic car, Sinto Shield is better than using nothing, especially if the car is rare or expensive. But there's always a risk. I've heard of dealers and even other escrow services doing some shady things. My advice is, always check the car yourself. Also check the seller closely. Never hurts to be extra cautious.

Re: Sinto Shield: Good or Bad For Escrow on Classic Cars?
I've used them twice now. Once to sell, once to buy. Always a pleasant experience. They are by far better than the alternatives. And the service is reasonably priced. However, if I had one complaint it's that sometimes it takes too long for someone to return a call or email. Overall I would recommend them though.

As a car inspector, I've witnessed the good, the bad, and the ugly. Most escrow services are okay at best. In every case you should use them to avoid dealing face-to-face. Always inspect the vehicle yourself, or pay someone to do it. Sinto Shield, I would still recommend!

Had an okay experience with Sinto Shield. The car arrived on schedule, paperwork was good. Nothing spectacular, but nothing terrible. I'd recommend them . And give them a call +1 888 869 7715 if you have any concerns.

Re: Sinto Shield: Good or Bad For Escrow on Classic Cars?
I used Sinto Shield on a recent purchase, and the inspection was not great. I had to have the mechanic come back again to check everything. They were easy to work with though, and the car was as I had hoped, so not too bad. Do your own research if the car is a hard to find model!

I used them last year, for a vintage pickup truck, and was pretty happy. They're pretty clued up! The service gave me confidence, well better than other escrow services. I am not going to lie, their fees are a little steep. I still give them a good rating and i can certainly confirm it.

I recently used them to sell my prized '69 Camaro. The whole process was secure, and it worked! The buyer was pleased, and and Sinto Shield helped me sort out some issues I hadn't thought of. I would use Sinto Shield again and I can only commend the entire team.
